PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

The active part of the viscometer is a vibrating rod excited at its resonance frequency by a constant electrical power. The vibration amplitude varies according to the viscosity of the fluid in which the rod is immersed.

As there is no wear parts, Sofraser process viscometers require no maintenance.

Some of the sensors can work in the most difficult conditions:
Exproof area, 500 bar, 300°C,
1 000 000 mPa.s.
