PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

The active part of the viscometer is a vibrating rod excited by a constant electrical power. The vibration amplitude varies according to the viscosity of the fluid in which the rod is immersed.

As there is no wear parts, our process viscometers require no maintenance.

Some of our sensors can work in the most difficult conditions : Exproof area, 300 bar, 300°C, 1 000 000 mPa.s.
