La viscosit\u00e9 et la fluidit\u00e9 ont une influence consid\u00e9rable sur la qualit\u00e9 du produit final. De nombreuses industries utilisent les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de la viscosit\u00e9 dans leurs processus industriels et les int\u00e8grent dans leurs normes de fabrication. Lorsqu\u2019on mentionne la viscosit\u00e9 d\u2019une huile ou d&#8217;un lubrifiants; il est important de pr\u00e9ciser \u00e0 quelle temp\u00e9rature elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9e. L\u2019indice de viscosit\u00e9 est une grandeur standardis\u00e9e qui prend en consid\u00e9ration l\u2019influence de la temp\u00e9rature sur la viscosit\u00e9 cin\u00e9matique.<br>Plus cet indice de viscosit\u00e9 est \u00e9lev\u00e9, moins la viscosit\u00e9 est influenc\u00e9e par la temp\u00e9rature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comment calcule-t-on l\u2019Indice de Viscosit\u00e9&nbsp;?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le mode de calcul est d\u00e9crit dans la<strong>&nbsp;norme ASTM D2270<\/strong>. L\u2019indice de viscosit\u00e9 se base sur la mesure de viscosit\u00e9 cin\u00e9matique \u00e0 2 temp\u00e9ratures de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence : 40\u00b0C (104\u00b0F) et 100\u00b0C (212\u00b0F).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de fabrication de l\u2019huile, la mesure et le calcul de l\u2019indice de viscosit\u00e9 constituent un v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9fi. Il faut mesurer la viscosit\u00e9 de l\u2019huile \u00e0 ces 2 temp\u00e9ratures de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence alors que le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de fabrication peut \u00eatre \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature diff\u00e9rente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solutions de mesure \u00e0 2 temp\u00e9ratures de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence&nbsp;:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensuite, les analyseurs pr\u00e9sentent des avantages nets par rapport aux viscosim\u00e8tres de process en ce qui concerne la mesure de la viscosit\u00e9 \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence des huiles et lubrifiants. En effet, la mesure s&#8217;effectue \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence r\u00e9elle, quel que soit le comportement du process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On distingue deux types d\u2019analyseurs :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Les analyseurs \u00e0 technologie capillaire :<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Utilisant une pompe, ils effectuent une mesure de viscosit\u00e9 dynamique et ne peuvent donc pas \u00eatre corr\u00e9l\u00e9s directement \u00e0 la norme<strong>&nbsp;D445<\/strong>. En effet, ils requi\u00e8rent l\u2019utilisation d\u2019un densim\u00e8tre externe pour calculer la viscosit\u00e9 cin\u00e9matique.
